The Handler (biothane) is an excellent tool for starting out on our Lead-All leash system. It offers tight and detailed control of your group, giving you an immediate sense of how our multi-dog leashes function. This lead naturally holds the central ring of system in the proper position above the height of your dogs.
Not all groups of dogs walk well together on one single ring. The Handler is an essential tool for enhancing your “pack splitting” capacity when used in combination with the Leader and our Lead-All leashes. Create smaller, more manageable groups if your pack has diverse needs — ie: a few elderly dogs with a couple of rambunctious pups or a mix of large and small dogs. Watch the video below for an example of how the Handler enhances your multi-dog handling.Â
The second clip also helps you secure your pack to a variety of objects, such as our wearable lead, The Leader, the metal latch inside the door frame of vehicles or chain link fences. The second clip can easily be tucked away if you’re not using it.
*Please note that the 1” and 3/4” are suitable for group dog walking, but due to the smaller hardware the 5/8” version is suitable only for 2-3 small dogs who do not pull or lunge.*
